Born in Leningrad in 1963.
Graduated higher engineering marine institution after S. Makarov in Leningrad in 1985.
From 1985 to 1991 joined the company “SOVFREIGHT” which was engaged in foreign trade cargo transportations over USSR.
From 1992 to 2001 took administration positions in Soviet, Russian and foreign companies, specializing in freight carriages and export-import transactions.
In 1994 established and headed ASTON company in Hambug.
From 1997 — Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Agro-industrial corporation ASTON”.
In 2003 he was elected as the Deputy of the city Duma in Rostov-on-Don.
General Director of the Investments Development Agency of Rostov region.
Board member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Speaks fluent English and German and is fond of sailing and equitation sports.
Was honored with higher social award in the sphere of agro-industrial complex “For plenitude and prosperity of Russia”, as well as with the title of the “Patron of Sports”.
