Cationic corn starch. Grade A-120

Cationic corn starch grade A-120 is used as an additive for “wet part” of paper-making machine by production of paper and cardboard for a heightening of mechanical strength, as well as for improving of dehydration and down holding.

Main characteristic:

Storage: 1 year in a closed package in a cool and dry place.
Package: 25 kg, 500 kg, 1000 kg.
Dosage: 6 - 12 kg/t paper, cardboard (in relation to a marketable product) for addition in a pulp; 3 - 6 kg/t paper, cardboard (in relation to a marketable product) for a heightening of interlayer strength.

Not harmful for health by common and industrial application. Can be used by production of foodstuff package in accordance with the requirements of the Sanitary regulations and standards 2.3.2.1078-01.

Prepared with fresh water. Heated with constant stirring to a temperature of 90-95 °C. Holding time at this temperature is not less than 15 minutes. The recommended concentration of the prepared starch to add weight – 1,5-2,5%. Can be prepared in the equipment for continuous cooking at a temperature of 120-130 °C. Diluted in cold water and dosed on sprays to increase interlayer strength. Recommended concentration – 1-1,5%.
